As you may be able to tell from recent posts I have been yearning for snow and ice.  Not having the time to sneak away to colder weather I am getting much satisfaction from at least dreaming about it, and dreaming about white.  I am known for warm interiors, but I have always been wanting to do an all white room, just working with shades, textures, and sheen, somewhat in the spirit of Syrie Maugham whose style I have admired.  I could not wait for the fabulous new book to come out about this iconic designer.  And so I dream…..
