Celebrate with Champagne in the perfect glass

The holidays are coming up, and I am stocking up on wine and Champagne.  I LOVE CHAMPAGNE!  I have some favorites, like Veuve Clicquot for sentimental reasons or a vintage Dom Pérignon for special occasions, but I also love many other great sparkling wines.  Austria and Germany make some nice Sekt, Italy offers delicious Prosecco, and Spain luscious Cava.  Lately I have been very fond of Brut Rosé, especially the one made by Nicolas Feuillatte.  Give me some amazing bubbly and I am a happy girl!  The holidays are approaching and my favorite beverage won’t be in short demand. There has always been a very close relationship between fashion and interior design.  Many interiors have been inspired by fashion, color trends spill into the home, and textiles made for clothing are translated into fabrics for furnishings and window treatments.  But the exchange goes both ways, as I often find drapery fabrics I want to have a dress made from, plus the feel of a room can inspire an entire outfit.  Magazines and bloggers have picked up on this too, and you can see the correlation expressed in regular features like “wear the room” in STANDARD magazine, which is available both online and in print.
