In the blink of an eye 2013 has passed, and I look forward to spending the transition into 2014 at the Masquerade Ball at the San Francisco Symphony.  Looking back, I am so grateful for many things: new friends coming into my life, and dear friends remaining, new clients with exciting projects sparking my creativity, great inspirations and unique opportunities that have come my way, and new and familiar places I got to visit.

I am ready for the promises of 2014.  I am excited about:

  • Adeeni Design Group: more exciting new projects spanning the globe
  • Innovations: further improvements in Smart Home technology and wearable computers, lower priced 3D printers, U-Socket
  • Sustainability: more responsible & edible food packaging and general packaging with dual use,
  • Food Trends: tea time, grazing and sharing, locally sourced meats, seafood & produce, better tasting allergy-friendly foods, more responsible food packaging, community-supported food businesses, more pop-up restaurants
  • Fashion Trends: color!, animal textures, metallics, boudoir, folklore glamour, tea-length skirts,
  • Design Trends: color!, pattern mix, tribal and ethnic influences, pattern mix, bejeweled kitchens,

Wishing you all a Very Happy New Year!

Cheers,

Dear Santa Baby,

In the words of Eartha Kitts: “Been an awful good girl, Santa baby.”  Honestly, I really have been a good girl this year.  So please take a look at my humble Christmas list:

Santa Honey, a girl can never have too many shoes.  Classic pumps don’t go out of style, and in chartreuse they are just right for me.  My size is usually 36, but Mr. Louboutin cuts his luscious footwear small.  So 37 please.

Santa Baby, gold is all the rage again, and I think it is time for the iPhone 5S in 24 ct. gold.  What do you think?

Of course that will need the appropriate gold head phones.

Santa Honey, you know I am a practical girl, and leopard and cheetah are timeless.  So a nice furry handbag is just what I need.

Santa Baby, San Francisco nights can be chilly, and I always love a good cup of tea.  It tastes even better from a graceful vessel.  Plus a little bit of Austria in California is just perfect.

While wrapped in cashmere it is an even more luxurious and relaxing experience.  I want to be hugged by tigers.

Santa Honey, I can never get enough of heartwarming candle light.  Glassybaby makes the most gorgeous hand-blown glass votives.  The more the merrier!

“Been an angel all year, Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.”

Thank you Santa!
